Job Description
We are looking for a mobile app developer, who can create interactive and responsive mobile apps following the best practices of the respective platforms. The candidate will be working with a team of experienced and skilled backend and API developers and will be building rich mobile applications which interact with the APIs.
Responsibilities
- Design and build applications for the iOS/Android platforms.
- The candidate should be able to build apps on iOS and/or Android platforms with Apache Cordova and Ionic framework with native app development being an added bonus.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Skills required
- A solid understanding of Swift/Java/JavaScript/TypeScript depending on the platform.
- Good programming knowledge with an understanding of object oriented and event driven programming principles.
- Experience with platform specific frameworks like Jetpack Compose and SwiftUI.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and WebSockets to connect applications to back-end services.
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
- Understanding of platform specific design principles and interface guidelines.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Proficient understanding of Git.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery.
